Where the south coast becomes wild, unspoiled, and wonderfully remote
About Tangalle
Tangalle marks the dividing line between the tropical coves of the southwest and the long, sweeping beaches of the deep south. It offers miles of pristine, uncrowded coastline bordered by swaying palms. While the sea can be rough, making it less ideal for swimming in some parts, the sheer beauty of beaches like Goyambokka and Marakolliya, along with the nearby Rekawa turtle-watching project, make it a superb destination.
