Board the Kandy–Ella scenic train. Seven hours through tea plantation valleys, mist, waterfalls, and the Nine Arches Bridge at Demodara — one of the world's most celebrated train journeys, and a highlight of every honeymoon.

A gentle day in Ella — short hike to Little Adam's Peak for hill-country views. Afternoon at leisure exploring local tea shops and honey stalls. Private candlelit dinner at a hilltop restaurant overlooking the Ella Gap.

Transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Morning at Pedro Tea Estate — a guided walk through the perfectly manicured tea rows followed by a private tasting of the finest high-grown teas. Afternoon fireside at your colonial hotel.

Transfer to the south coast via the scenic mountain road. Check in to your beachside property in Weligama. First touch of Indian Ocean sand as a couple. Sunset cocktails on a beach terrace.

Pre-dawn departure to Mirissa Harbour for the sunrise whale-watching boat. Blue whales — the largest creatures on earth — are regularly spotted here from November to April. Return for late breakfast. Romantic afternoon on the beach.
